Privacy Policy — Crystal Cascade: Push & Glow

Effective date: July 10, 2026

Crystal Cascade: Push & Glow ("the app," "we," "our") is a single-player puzzle game for iOS made by an independent developer. This policy explains what information is handled when you play and what choices you have. The short version: the app has no accounts, we never ask for your name or email, and your progress stays on your own device. The only data that leaves your device relates to advertising and purchases, handled by the third parties described below.

Summary

  • No sign-up or account. We do not collect your name, email address, or contact details.
  • Game progress, gem balance, and settings are stored only on your device.
  • Ads are served by Unity Ads. Personalized ads are shown only if you allow tracking through Apple's permission prompt.
  • In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Information collected automatically

We do not operate our own servers and do not collect or store your personal information ourselves. However, the third-party services that operate inside the app may automatically receive certain data from your device:

  • Device information — device model, operating system version, language, and similar technical details.
  • Identifiers — the device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, and the identifier for vendor (IDFV).
  • IP address and the approximate (city-level) location derived from it.
  • Ad interaction data — which ads were shown and whether you viewed or tapped them.

Advertising (Unity Ads)

The app displays advertisements (such as interstitial ads) served by Unity Ads, a service of Unity Technologies. Unity may collect and process the data listed above to deliver ads, measure how they perform, and prevent fraud. This data may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. You can read how Unity handles this data here:

The app also supports Apple's SKAdNetwork, a privacy-preserving framework that lets advertisers measure ad campaign performance in aggregate without identifying you individually.

Your choices about ads and tracking

  • Tracking permission. Personalized ads are shown only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. If you decline, ads are contextual (not based on your activity in other apps). You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Unity's tools. You can exercise data access, deletion, and opt-out rights directly with Unity through the Player Privacy page linked above.
  • Remove Ads. Buying the Remove Ads purchase permanently disables third-party ads in the app.

In-app purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases: consumable gem packs (a virtual currency that can be spent on things like hints) and a one-time Remove Ads upgrade. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account; we never receive your payment card details or billing address. The Remove Ads purchase can be restored on a new device using the Restore Purchases option in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard terms.

Your gem balance is stored locally on your device. Gems are a virtual item with no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Data stored on your device

Game progress, gem balance, and settings are saved only in the app's local storage on your device. We cannot access this data remotely, it is not uploaded anywhere, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app's third-party services, please contact us and we will help address it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA and UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

Because we do not collect or store personal data on our own systems, requests concerning advertising data are best directed to Unity through its Player Privacy page linked above. Declining the tracking prompt (or turning it off in iOS Settings) also opts you out of personalized advertising at the device level. If you contact us, we will help route your request to the right place.

Data retention and security

We retain no personal data on our own systems. Third-party services retain data according to their own published policies. Local game data remains on your device until you delete the app.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after an update means the revised policy applies.
